The GOTRIbal Shirts Off! Fun Run and Walk is to celebrate the momentous coming home of the US Troops in 2011.
This event is an opportunity for EVERYONE; friends, family members, and colleagues, to honor both those who gave their lives during the war, as well as support those who are coming home.
Grab a friend or LOTS of them! and go outside for 3 mile run, walk or roll! **Even if you're signed up to do a road run race that day, you can register here and we'll have your miles logged in. So easy!
ALL PROCEEDS go to USO San Diego's support of the Second Annual Marine Corps Trials at Camp Pendleton for the Warrior Games, held February 14-21, 2012. This athletic competition facilitates the physical and mental rehabilitation for our wounded military personnel through eight competitive athletic events. .
When: December 11, 2011. If you live in San Diego, you can join us aboard the USS Midway (910 N. Harbor Drive) at 7:30 am (Media/Photos) for a Run/Walk start at 8:00 am. (Refreshments served post-run!)
Alternatively, anyone can do the run, walk or roll at any time during the day from 7:00 am- 7:00 pm wherever you are! Just register here!
Goal: 2011 miles collectively run by people around the world!
How much does it cost? The $10 registration fee is a direct donation, through GOTRIbal, and all proceeds will go to USO San Diego's support of the Second Annual Marine Corps Trials at Camp Pendleton for the Warrior Games, held February 14-21, 2012. This athletic competition facilitates the physical and mental rehabilitation for our wounded military personnel through eight competitive athletic events.
